Overview

The Hellenic Culture Centre undertakes the responsibility to prepare candidates Α2 for the Exams for the acquisition of the Certificate of Adequacy of Knowledge for Naturalization (PEGP). The lessons are online (online platform with educational materials and Teams).

This language course lasts 2,5 years (A2, B1, B2, preparation for the Citizenship exam).

Each level of Greek takes approximately one year of study. This programme is designed for students to fill any gaps in levels A1 and A2 in 6 months (instead of 16-18 months), then take B1 in 8 months (instead of 10-11 months), and later enter level B2 and only attend it for 6 months (instead of 16-18 months). Immediately after this, students will be ready to prepare for 6 months to successfully pass the Citizenship exams.

Level Course Months Instead of…
A1-A2 6 16-18
B1 8 10-11
B2 6 16-18

Intended for

This fast-paced programme is aimed at students who are at level A2 (or even B1 in some skills), but who need a good review of grammar at levels A1-A2, before moving on to Greek at levels B1 and B2.

Once they have completed half of level B2, they will begin preparing for the Citizenship exams.

Development of vocabulary at level B1 for topics such as work, ecology, entertainment, travel, media, weather, food, city, education, transportation, etc. Completion of basic grammar.

Further expansion of vocabulary to level B2, with the aim of understanding the news on Public Television (ERT), reading newspapers and enjoying simplified literature books. Also, basic language structures, such as indirect speech or conditionals.

Before completing level B2, we can move on to preparing for the Citizenship exams, learning, in addition to the Language, also:
